Who needs to go down east to see maples when these are right in Edmonton on 97th street just north of 137th avenue. Too bad I was not there when they were even redder!

The Wildlife Within City Boundaries
Friday night, folks on the BLESS platform got a chance to see wildlife close up as these moose made it across the river at the platform. The cow and two calves caused a bit of a traffic jam as they tried to get into the White Spruce Forest according to our photographer Elke Blodgett.
